Print a QR label for a box, scan it to see inside
Generate printable QR labels for storage boxes, then scan one with your phone to see everything inside.
Print a QR label, stick it on a storage box, and from then on you can scan the sticker with your phone camera to see everything Manifest has stored in that box. No searching, no typing.
Printing labels
- Open Settings and tap Print QR Labels.
- Choose how many labels per page (4, 6, or 8) and tap Print.
- Cut the labels and tape or stick them onto your boxes.
The labels print on plain paper. Each label encodes a unique URL so every box gets its own code.
Scanning a label
Point your phone camera at the sticker as you would any QR code. It opens the box view in Manifest showing everything assigned to that location.
The box chip on item cards
Once an item is assigned to a box, its card shows a small box chip so you can tell at a glance which box it lives in.
Auto-named boxes
Boxes start with a generic name. They stay hidden from the location filter until you rename them, so your filter list doesn't fill up with unnamed boxes. Rename a box by opening its view and tapping the name.
Good to know
- This is not search-by-QR. The QR code opens the box view; it doesn't filter or search your inventory for a product.
- The stickers are Manifest-generated codes. To reuse a QR sticker you already own (like one from another app), see Reuse a QR sticker you already own.
