Reuse a QR sticker you already own
Link a QR sticker you already have (like a Sortly label) to a Manifest location so scanning it jumps straight there.
If you have QR stickers from another app — Sortly labels, for example — you can link them to Manifest locations so scanning them opens the right box in Manifest. You don't need to print anything new.
Link a sticker from the inventory scanner
- Open your inventory and tap the barcode icon in the search bar.
- Scan the foreign sticker.
- If Manifest doesn't recognize the code, it will offer three options: link it to an existing box, add whatever it found as a new item, or cancel.
- Choose Link to a box and pick the location.
Link a sticker from a location page
- Open the location you want to link the sticker to.
- Tap the Scan a sticker to link it here button and scan the sticker.
Once linked, scanning the sticker routes directly to that location view.
Good to know
- Each location can have one external code. Linking a new sticker replaces the previous one.
- Each code can only be linked to one location at a time. If a sticker is already linked to another box, Manifest will tell you.
- To re-link a sticker to a different location, use either method above and pick the new location.
- Manifest-printed QR labels work the same way out of the box without any linking step. See Print a QR label for a box.
