Connect Manifest to Claude
Ask Claude about your inventory, warranties, and gift cards. Read-only: Claude can look things up but can't change anything.
You can connect Manifest to Claude and ask questions about your inventory in plain language: what's in the garage, which warranties run out this year, what your electronics are worth. The connection is read-only. Claude can look things up, but it can't add, change, or delete anything.
Connect in Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Manifest and paste this URL:
https://mcp.manifestme.me/mcp - Choose Connect. A Manifest page asks whether to allow the app to read your inventory. Only allow it if you started the connection in Claude yourself, just now.
- Choose Allow, sign in to Manifest if you aren't already, and choose Allow once more on manifestme.me.
You're sent back to Claude, and Manifest shows up in your connectors. We email you whenever a new app connects to your account.
To use it from Claude Code instead, run claude mcp add --transport http manifest https://mcp.manifestme.me/mcp, then type /mcp and sign in.
Things to ask
- "What's in my garage?"
- "Which warranties expire in the next 90 days?"
- "What's my inventory worth, by room?"
- "Do I have any gift cards with a balance left?"
- "Find my Sony headphones and tell me when I bought them."
What Claude can see
Seven read-only lookups, all limited to your own account:
- Search inventory by name, room, tag, or category
- Item details: name, brand, model, condition, value, purchase date and price, warranty date, room, the last 4 characters of the serial number, and basic pet details (type, breed, color, birthday, adoption date)
- Inventory summary: item count, total value, and what you paid, overall or broken down by room or category
- Expiring warranties
- Gift card balances: retailer, balance, and expiry date
- Rooms and locations
- Tags
What Claude can't see
- Photos, receipts, and documents themselves (only how many are attached)
- Notes, full serial numbers, and pet microchip or license numbers. (Search can match words in your notes, but the notes themselves are never shown.)
- Gift card numbers and PINs
- Items still waiting for your review, such as drafts from forwarded receipts
- Your email, billing, or account settings
Claude also can't make changes. Adding items, editing, deleting, running AI actions, and billing all stay inside Manifest.
Disconnect
Open Settings → Connected apps in Manifest and choose Disconnect. Claude loses access within an hour. You can also remove the connector in Claude's settings. Deleting your Manifest account removes every connection.
Good to know
- It works on any plan, including an expired trial, because it only reads what you already have.
- There's a limit of 60 lookups a minute. If Claude hits it, wait a minute and ask again.
- Questions about this connector go to support@manifestme.me. See the Privacy Policy for how connected apps are handled.
