Walk through a room on video

A video walkthrough lets you pan a camera slowly through a room while Manifest watches the footage and pulls out what it sees. Good for logging a room in one go without stopping to photograph each thing individually.

How to start

Tap the add button and choose Bulk Add.
Tap Walkthrough at the bottom of the screen.
Pan slowly through the room, keeping the camera steady. One recording per group of items works best.

When you stop recording, Manifest analyzes the clip and brings up the extracted items for you to review.

Talk while you film

Manifest listens to the audio, so you can describe items as you pan past them. Say a price, a purchase date, a brand or model it can't read on a label, or how many you have ("three of these") and it fills those in. Anything else you mention — who gave it to you, the condition, where it came from — is saved as a note in your own words.

Reviewing the results

Each item comes up one at a time. Confirm the ones you want to keep, edit any details Manifest got wrong, and skip or discard the rest. Nothing saves until you confirm.

Walkthroughs are metered separately from AI actions

Trial: one walkthrough total.
Vault: one walkthrough per month. A Boost or an Unlimited plan removes this cap.
Unlimited: no monthly cap.

This allowance is separate from the AI action count used by photo analysis and other AI features.

Good to know

Slow, steady pans work much better than quick sweeps.
Good lighting matters. Dim rooms produce more misses.
If a clip picks up nothing, Manifest will tell you to try again with a slower pass in better light.
Individual items that are very small or heavily obscured are often missed. Add them manually afterward.
