Build an insurance report

Generate a claims-ready report of your inventory with photos, values, serials, and dates.

Manifest can generate a formatted document for an insurance claim from your inventory. It covers item names, brands, models, serial numbers, purchase dates, prices, photos, receipts, and both RCV and ACV totals.

Generating a report requires an active plan (Vault, Unlimited, or the 7-day trial).

Build a report

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Insurance Export.
  3. Choose a scope: full inventory, a specific room, a category, or a custom selection of items.
  4. Optionally add Owner Name and Property Address — these appear on the cover page.
  5. Turn off Photos if you want a leaner document; everything else is always included.
  6. Tap Print Report.

The report opens in a new view with a cover page, summary totals, and a per-room table listing each item's name, brand, model, serial number, quantity, purchase date, purchase price, RCV, ACV, depreciation percentage, and warranty expiry.

Save as PDF

Tap Print / Save PDF in the report toolbar. In your browser's print dialog, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination. That gives you a file you can attach to an email or upload to your insurer's portal.

Good to know

  • The photo links in the report are temporary, so generate it shortly before you share it.
  • The insurance export is separate from the plain CSV export in Settings. The CSV is a flat spreadsheet with no photos or depreciation calculations. See Export everything you own for that.
  • See ACV vs RCV and the calculator if you want to understand what the valuation figures in the report mean for a claim.
