Care and upkeep reminders

The Care tab on any item lets you set reminders for upkeep tasks — filter changes, vet appointments, battery replacements, whatever that item needs over time. Overdue reminders show an indicator so nothing quietly slips past.

Adding a reminder

1. Open an item and tap the Care tab.
2. Tap Add reminder.
3. Set a title, a due date, and optionally a recurrence — one-time, monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, or yearly.

Manifest also surfaces suggestions based on the item's category. You can accept a suggestion with one tap or dismiss it if it doesn't apply.

Managing reminders

Each active reminder has controls to mark it done, snooze it by one week, edit it, or delete it. Marking a recurring reminder done sets the next due date automatically.

Where reminders show up

Active and overdue reminders appear in the Alerts section so you see them without opening each item.

On the iPhone app, reminders sync to Siri, widgets, and Control Center so you can mark them done from outside the app. See mobile features for details.

Good to know

• Reminders are tied to the item. If you delete the item, its reminders go with it.
• There is no limit on the number of reminders you can create.
