How much have I spent on Amazon?
Add up every Amazon order you've had shipped: your total, each year's spending, your biggest purchases and what you buy again and again. It runs in your browser, and your file never leaves your device.
Step 1: Get your order history from Amazon
- Open Amazon's Request Your Data page and sign in.
- Choose "Your Orders" and submit the request.
- Confirm the email Amazon sends you.
- Wait for a second email with your download link. It usually takes 1 to 3 days. Download the .zip.
Step 2: Drop the file here
Drop your Amazon file here
The .zip from Amazon's email, or the Order History CSV inside it
Your file stays on your device. We don't upload it, store it or see it. Close the tab and it's gone.
How you can check
- Load this page, then turn off Wi-Fi and drop your file. It still works, because everything happens on your device.
- Open your browser's developer tools and watch the Network tab while you drop the file. No request contains your file or anything in it. The one request the calculator itself makes is a small usage count (how many rows and years), with no names, dates or amounts.
- Nothing is saved. Refresh or close the tab and the results are gone.
Questions
How do I see how much I've spent on Amazon?
Request your order history from Amazon's Request Your Data page, choose Your Orders, and wait for the download email, usually 1 to 3 days. Drop the .zip on this page and you'll see your total, your spending by year and your biggest purchases.
Why can't I download an order history report from Amazon anymore?
Amazon retired its Order History Reports page in 2023. The data request is now the way to get a full list of your orders. Your Orders on the website still shows them, but only a page at a time.
Is it safe to use my Amazon order history here?
Your file never leaves your device. The calculator runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded or saved, and the results disappear when you close the tab. You can load the page, turn off Wi-Fi and it still works.
Does the total include tax, shipping and cancelled orders?
The total uses the amount Amazon lists for each item, which includes tax. Cancelled orders are skipped. Refunds aren't subtracted, because Amazon keeps returns in a separate file, so if you return a lot your real spend is a little lower. Digital orders like Kindle books, apps and Prime Video rentals are kept in separate files, so they aren't counted.
Does it work for Amazon stores outside the US?
Yes. It reads order history from any Amazon store. If you've ordered in more than one currency, the main total uses US dollars when you have them, or your most-used currency otherwise, and the rest are listed separately.
